Better Future?

In the era of globalization, it is assumed that the majority of the countries in the world are involved in it, but some African countries complain that they were denied the access to the globalized market. What about poverty? What is the involvement of the private sector in social issues?

I could not agree with you more. I recently was looking at a study that showed how this so-called global village that the internet has supposedly created has virtually ignored most African nations. Communication resources are not being developed because large companies are ignoring markets where economics are weaker. Don't we have a responsbility, as a global powerhouse, to help areas of the world less developed? Leaving behind a major sector of the world in the communications revolution has very dire consequences!
